Dictionary Mystery Game
Procedure: Place students in groups of 2–3. Give each group a recording sheet and each student a dictionary. Place the 10 game cards around the room. Groups will rotate through the game cards, reading each clue and using their dictionary to determine the word, definition, or part of speech. Students can move through the cards in any order, but there can only be 1 group at each game card at a time. The first 3 teams to finish all 10 cards with the correct answers win!
