Portfolio

  As an effective assessment tool, portfolios are collections of student work that can demonstrate learning. Portfolios can range in complexity from simple collections of teacher-identified student assignments to more complex student-driven products that demonstrate learning standards with the teacher evaluating mastery for grade. It is possible to complete a portfolio within a short period of time or over a school year as a comprehensive project.
